Hi Captains,

We will be bringing down Star Trek Online tomorrow, Thursday, January 17th, at 11PM PST (click here to view in your timezone) for maintenance and to apply a new patch. Patch notes can be found here, and we expect this maintenance to only last for 2 hours. The test server may also be unavailable during this time.

UPDATE (1/16 @ 9:58pm): We are pushing back maintenance to tomorrow night at 11:59pm PST. Thanks for your understanding.

UPDATE (1/17 @ 10:53am): We are pushing up maintenance by 59 minutes to tonight at 11pm PST. Thanks for your understanding.

UPDATE (1/18 @ 12:12am): We're extending maintenance by 30 minutes. The new ETA is 1:30am PST.

"The 700-day android engineering bridge officer is now available as a synthetic female or male.

Also added science and tactical versions of the android Bridge Officers, both male and female.
The female versions of the androids have the same skills.
You may still only have one android per captain.
If you discharge an android officer, you may claim a replacement at no cost.
Go to the Bridge Officer Requisitions at Earth Spacedock/Qo'noS to claim an android officer."

Impressive Patch nice work guys!
The Average PvP player

1) Teamwork and timing is #1
2) You cannot "Kirk It" in every ship
3) You are going to die, just get back up

Does this mean that PWOs are worthless if you are using the Omega Plasma Torpedo Launcher?

Yes because the launcher uses its own ammo system, when they triggered it did nothing to it besides kinda screwing it up but made the other launchers reset.

Good update. So when are you guys going to fix the Gamma Orionis Defender Accolade so we can finish it? All the other sectors have been fixed. Where is this one?

I've been wondering about that myself. I have all the others, but that one never seemed to work. Also, will there be one for the new sector?
