Now my issue is this is end game content why is it so easy... I want a challenge, the only challenge I get anymore is in pvp and even then a good match is few and far between. I'm making a plead to the devs to make STF's real end game content like they used to be combine both ground and space STF's so you have to do both in conjunction or at the same time. And make the Borg like real Borg. A threat! Right now all STF's are just a grab at points and not a challenge.
-"There is no such thing as an I win button!" "Um, Sir. Whats this button that says (I win) for then?"
1. all white xi gear
2. No escort usage or dhc usage
3. No tricbombs
4. Play in a sci ship (not the vesta)
5. Use only standard RA ships
6. Pug Cure space elite or Kase
???
Stf hard mode engaged!
I already beat no win not that hard. Still it's end game content the developers shouldn't have to make it easy just because other players don't develop skills needed to play the game. I take it non of you played when STF's where a real challenge and took about 30 min to an hour to complete.

Here's another challenge: Do elites with PuGs and try not to nerd rage.
It's not particularly difficult. A single decent pilot can pull enough DPS to get optionals. If you are failing in pugs, and especially if you are a tactical or fly an escort or carrier, you really need to look at yourself as part of the problem.

It isn't so much the lack of DPS with PUGs as the utter and total lack of communication or coordination. DPS is fine, apart from the occasional carebear cruiser or skittlescort.

Even that isn't an issue. Everything is easily manageable by just keeping a watchful eye open and compensating for your teammates deficiencies.
Keep an eye on Kang in CSE, keep an eye on the probes in KASE. If you have good situational awareness you can tell when someone else is screwing up or not pulling their weight and you can adjust. The only time I fail optionals is when I screw up because I'm not paying attention to what other people may or may not be doing.

I so agree with lewstelamon01.
For new players, the STF's remain challenging and difficult. If you doubt this, try going back to normals for a while with downgraded weapons and shields.
As an elite player (I use this term ever so loosely), team STF's are not meant to be challenging. They are there for 1 thing - the grind until something new comes along.
If you're looking for something else to challenge you - try the Foundry.
