I've just started a Klingon Tac, and I'm unsure which ship(s) to use for fastest leveling up.
I've played around a bit with the starting Norgh, and while being awesome on the offense after coming out of battle cloak, it's also paper thin. Can't stay and slug it out with more than a couple of frigs without risking death.
So, should I invest my ship requisition point in a K't'inga or a Qorgh? or stay with the Norgh?
Also, in the long run, which path is fastest for leveling up a tac (BoPs, raptors or battle cruisers)?
BoP IMO. Gravity well + CSV + Torp Spread + APB is mostly all you need for PvE, especially the Mirror event which is the most efficient way to level.
_______________ 4/4 Z-Store KDF Specific Bugs fixed! Thank you from the bottom of my wallet! I'm going to go buy some Zen points for a rainy day. Here's another batch about visuals.

Um enjoy what little of it that there is? Get a few different ships so that at end game your not....OMG I"VE ONLY EVAH USED ONE SHIP WTF!!!!!!
They're all pretty good options. Especially once you get alpha. Whenever that happens again I've forgetton. Alpha is a very long buff it works great on the constant pew pew pew that cruisers lay down. Seriously its 30 seconds. Use that with DEM and see what comes out ahead vs 3 mobs.
Seriously relax have fun. Try out some new stuff. Espcecially if you've NEVER flown KDF cruisers they are NOT like Fed cruisers. KDF cruisers are like....slightly chubby engineering heavy escorts. Anyways tryout a few things while you have the chance.

Do the mission and get the free 3rd year anniversary ship! It is very nice.
I posted it before knowing about the anniversary ship. Now I took it and bought a raptor with the ship requisition token, so I have all 3 ship classes to play around with and see which I like most.
I asked because I had issues with ship selection on my Fed toon. Ran an escort for levels 10-20, then switched to cruiser. I disliked it so much that I literally counted every XP up to 30 when I could switch.
Directed energy modulation. You'll like the KDF cruisers. WAY different then fed. Honestly.
And in before any passerby happens to point out all the fun damage options for Feds. I'm just and only saying that with the better turn rate on KDF cruisers and the DC option, they are easy and fun to play in PVE as if they are sorta chubby escorts.

Fed side I fly cruisers, KDF side I used a BoP until I got the Kamarag Battlecruiser. To be honest I don't like Escorts or the BoP really either. Too fast, to squishy.
The BC is for me the perfect blend between a fed cruiser and a escort/BoP. Turns nice and quick and can put out a ton of damage with 2x DHC's. But has some staying power and can turn to the side for a nice beam broadside.
I just started a new KDF tactical last night and I have questions on weapon type & load outs. What path of weapon type should I be using while leveling as a KDF? Should I stick with Disruptor or move on to something else?
I mainly played Science on Fed/KDF side so I'm very familiar with beam array builds, carriers and Gravity Wells. Now with my KDF Tactical, I'm not sure if I should stick with the default weapon package that came with the starter ship. Should I go with more heavy cannons or mix regular and heavy cannons?
Is there a new tactical player KDF weapon guide posted somewhere?
