Ok we have been waiting a while for this and the last we heard was that this was coming at the beginning of the year but then pushed back again to what, February, March. When are we going to be seeing this ship in the Z-store, will it be a single ship or a trio pack? Can we get some stats, pictures, anything for this. Please, pretty please, with tribbles on top.

Actually it was pushed back to 'the first half of the year'. So it could appear anytime from today, to June as far as we know.

So relax, it'll get here in due time.

Woah woah, power down, son. They just debuted FIVE new ships, 3 of which are free, in the space of 2 months!

I can understand if this thing is absolutely the only thing you care about, but give 'em some time. They haven't said much at all about the Andorian ship, not least whether it's an escort or whatever. And no one knows if it can be a trio (I've only ever seen 1 canon Andorian ship, and the only other STO andorian-inspired vessel is the UShaan skin for the Saber).

Plus, they can't exactly blow their ship load right away, what with Romulans coming in 4 months. See what happens by April, then you can beg.

Could be a C-store ship. To be honest I don't see Andorians having enough appeal to convince people to spend lobi or zen on opening boxes. I imagine only slightly more people would buy it than, say, a D'kyr.

Think of it this way: On Fed I rarely if ever see D'Kyrs (or even Nebulas), and on KDF I almost never see anyone flying a Gorn Varanus. In all the time since its debut I've only seen a Marauder Cruiser ONCE.

The Andorian ship could face the same fate, i.e. being a ship for an alien race few care about. At least the Atrox is unique because it's the only fed carrier (and it looks awesome).

Plus, the Dominion lockbox just hit, so it should be around for at least 4-6 months (or at least until May).

You do know people don't use those ships because of race it's because of poor stats(dkyr) poor Boff layout and malfunctioning repair platforms(varanus)

Im sure if they brought out the battlecruiser and it had 4 tac consoles and 10 turnrate you'd not see any other cruiser on the federation battleground

Oh and the marauders widely used due to it's the only kdf ship you can equip beams and look normal doing it

Fair enough, but IMO an Andorian ship doesn't have the "brand power" to justify the cost of a lockbox debut. Maybe if it was paired with another "racial" ship that I can't think of at the moment, but I maintain that it'll go to the store rather than the box.

The Nebula also suffers from deficient boff layout.

... The Nebula is supposed to be a science ship/cruiser hybrid and it did wonderful pre-f2p when sci abilities were worth using. Now however, this ship can't do science so it must focus on being a 'science-y light cruiser' ... and it fails because its hull is so weak the bleedthrough damage makes it super easy to pop. It is not fast, it does not turn.. the only thing this ship can do nowadays is shield tank and put out mediocre damage.

It should be updated in the fleet version at least to be Cmdr Sci, Lt Cmdr Engineer, Lt Cmdr Science, Lt Tactical. Only then does this ship have a snowball's chance in hell of becoming remotely useful.

Must have been me..I some times feel I'm the only one piloting that ship, but to be honest its the only one I've bought that i have enjoyed.

A reason your probably not seeing many of these flying around is lack of fleet versions, and that (In the gorn ships case) there are many better options, so really the only people flying these are 'theme' characters (Like my Orion with her all orion crew).

On the other hand, the factional fleet ships (Naus for example) seem to be all over the place.

Now will it sell? yes it will, why? because its an escort.

I would love an andorian ship. That's my favorite race, hence why my character is andorian and almost all of my bridge officers were chosen to be andorian. I fly science though so I hope they have a science, escort, and cruiser.

I do realize though it isn't one of the more popular races so isn't that likely.
