I'm experiencing really poor performance on my machine. I'm using 64 bit vista. Every second or so I experience a 1/4 of a second hitch in the ground game only. (Space game is fine). The number of players in the zone seems to have a big impact on the problem. I can play on low settings fine, recommended normally are broken but right now they're "ok" (I assume because people are logging off?).

I'm having stuttering issues on my GTX280. I've read that 190.62 fixes the problem but that version does not have the GPU throttling fix so that's not an option.

I dont have it every second but it does hitch sometimes and I have a gtx 260 Mobile. It can be described as similar to memory issues I have experienced in the past with my older computer. After I move a certain distance it feels like it has to quickly load things. However, I have 4GB DDR3 RAM and my video card has 1GB GDDR3 so I don't think thats it unless this game's memory allocation is poor.

I also have a GTS 260 and it seems to me that the lastest hot fix build introduced this problem at i was getting double or triple frame rates durring all of CB

I can confirm now that it is all about the other players. I just did a mission solo. No other players is smooth as butter, other players = pain and suffering. Earth station makes me want to commit suicide. Now I lower my graphics settings to low every time I go there.

I am having the same stutering issues as you and their is no way i should be experiencing this IMO with the system i have and the quality of the gfx in this game. I have tried numerous settings and it doesnt seem to matter what i do it always stutters at some point..I can play crysis on max settings with better results then this.
I am running windows 7 64 bit with a
i7 920
12 GB DDR3
GTX 295
Creative X-fi sound
1 TB 7200 rpm WD
24 " Samsung
22 " Acer
Mamba Razer mouse
Saitek Cyborg Keyboard

I know it is a beta and all, but this seems a little odd.

I noticed that I got better performance when i stopped seeding the sto client @ 1.5Mb/s

So far, no real client problems. Maxing everything out @ 1920x1200

System:

Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz
4GB DDR2 800
GTX260/216 core + 9800GT 512mb (for physx)
X-Fi 64mb
100Mbit connection @ home

Not sure which nvidia driver version i'm using

I am experiencing the hitching a lot as well. I am running

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit
Intel i7 920
Dual GeForce 9800GT's
6GB RAM

I have lowered the resolution and quality settings as low as they will go, it looks like I am playing the game on a Gameboy and I am still getting the issues. I don't think its graphics related.
