# 1 Can't create a new character!

Some one told me to try here since my ticket that I made back in the middle of March seems to have been ignored! I deleted my last character and the Foundry won't let me create a new one! It says that character creation is disabled and that I have no mission slots. How can I get this fixed? If it helps I am a gold subscriber.

I'm sorry you've had this occur.

I did some quick testing and I got the same result after deleting my last Foundry character. However, after re-logging I was able to create a new Foundry character. As I expect you've already tried re-logging, I've let Customer Service know about your problem.

Thanks. I just tried again and it still is not fixed but maybe now that they know they will fix it next week. Its early Sunday morning, so I am guessing it should be fixed some time this week... I hope. I hope its fixed before the Romulan Republic gets here in late May and that they add more tools and maps, ect... so we can make Romulan missions.

It seems to work on Tribble but it is broken on Holodeck! What is different on Tribble?

Hey

I've been trying to create a Romulan character on Tribble. I have 5 unused character slots and a level 50 Star Fleet character (already on Tribble), yet I cannot get the option to create a Romulan. When I put my cursor over the Romulan ensignia, it says I have to have a level 25 Federation captain. What gives?

Can you give me some more details?
-- What type of account do you have (free/subscriber)?
-- Does character creation fail or are you unable to even start character creation?
-- If character creation fails, do you get any messages?

Tribble has the build for the Legacy of Romulus expansion and so is newer than what's on Holodeck. This is actually good news in that when Legacy of Romulus goes live, the problem will definitely be fixed.

I fixed it! My debit card had changed and apparently I forgot to update my payment information for STO. I was looking at my account yesterday and noticed it said inactive for subscription info. I updated the billing info. and now Foundry works on Holodeck again! I don't know why billing never told me that. I checked my email for November since it changed at the end of October, but I didn't find an email. I thought maybe I had some how over looked an email but no. It appears Cyriptic or PWE whom ever does the billing, never sent me an email warning me to update billing info!
