We will be bringing the Tribble server down for maintenance to apply a new update.

General:
  • Changed the initial Console Choice from Admiral Quinn in the Fed Tutorial.
    • Replaced the "Flow Capacitor" console from Sci option with a "Shield Hitpoint" console.
  • It is now possible to change a Bridge Officer's costume when the Bridge Officer still has their free costume change.
  • Resolved an issue that caused players to have incorrect and missing character and bank inventories.

Systems:
  • Traits:
    • New, more evocative icons have been added to traits.
    • Liberated Borg:
      • Efficient has been moved from an optional trait into the required racial trait for Liberated Borg. All Liberated Borg captains will now automatically have this trait.
      • Liberated Borg may now select Elusive as an optional trait.
  • Toron Shuttles now have Cloaking Devices.
    • This is a retroactive change that will apply to existing players.
    • This is an extra power; it does not require a device or console slot.
  • To'Duj Fighters now have Battle Cloaking Devices.
    • This is a retroactive change that will apply to existing players.
    • This is an extra power; it does not require a device or console slot.

UI:
  • Character Creation UI
    • Updated the art for all of the species selection portraits and added a faction-themed background to them.
    • It is now possible to preview character stances in the character creator.
    • Face presets previews will correctly update after switching gender selection.
    • Beards and eye attachments will no longer persist across face presets.
  • Increased the size of the mini contact windows, as well as their text and images.
  • Significantly reduced memory footprint of UI windows.
  • Made the edges of HUD elements slightly more visible.
  • Made the backgrounds of large UI Windows completely opaque.
    • This affects Duty Officers, Contacts, Status, etc.
  • Made UI HUD element backgrounds slightly transparent.
    • This affects the power tray, shield tray, target window, throttle, weapon tray, etc.
  • Disabled powers on the power tray are now grayed out instead of just slightly darker.
  • Made some visual improvements to the Bridge Officer tray.
    • Decreased the space between each Bridge Officer.
    • Added a career-appropriate background image to the portrait.
    • Set up trays to collapse in UI Compact mode.
  • Sticky chat channel behavior will now default to being disabled.
  • The contact window will now reset the scrollbar after selecting a dialog option.

So, my Kar'Fi seems to have a battlecloak, but I don't remember that being mentioned in any patch notes. Is that meant to be there, 'cause if so that's kind of cool, but it's a Fek'Ihri not a Klingon one, so I don't think that should be there...

So have my Vo'Quv, Guramba, Varanus, Chel Grett etc.

Known issue, already fixed internally. No ship other than the To'Duj Fighter should have gained access to Battle Cloak.

Oh no please don't. I'd like a battlecloak on my kdf ships. Mhh battle cloak on a krenn destroyer...

Again, I have to ask, what is the Peregrine gaining to compensate, because, as far as I know, the 2 C-Store fighters have identical stats.
