# 1 Romulan Hairstyles
04-19-2013, 02:10 PM
Why can Romulans only wear short hairstyles? I understand that this is iconic, and that npcs should reflect that, but why can player Romulans not take long hair? Vulcans do not have to have short hair, which may have been influenced by mirror T'pol, but still there is no reason why Romulans cannot use long hair options! And Romulans with long hair is even canon, as shown by Nero's wife.

So please provide a good reason why we should not be able to have long hair or add it to the options.

I'm sure I speak for many other players who don't want our Romulans to be typical, traditionalist Romulans.

I want my Romulan to have a fauxhawk.

Can I have the "Long" hair option for the romulan? All the romulan refugee NPCs seem to have it. Pretty please?
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

Definitely adding my vote to this. I remember a Dev mentioning that Romulans would have access to new hairstyles (hinting that the Romulan lady's hairstyle on the LoR website would be a possibility.

What is that one hairstyle called ingame. The Gothic Long? Totally would look good on a Caitian.

Just saying.

To be honest I would just like there to be more long non ponytail options, currently got 3 Fed/KDF and 2 or 3 specific to roms.

Though I do appreciate it has clipping issues which might be why we have so many short ones.
It is through repetition that we learn our weakness.

Has damage got out of control?
This is the last thing I will post.
