# 1 authenticators to the rescue!
01-30-2010, 11:51 AM
I have been, for the past few years, a major world of ******** player but now that STO is out im all into this game! I think one of the smartest ideas they had was the authenticator to reduce hacking into player accounts.

Before hacking becomes a problem in STO i think authenticators should be sold, i'd buy one!

I have 7 PMs so far with STO credit offers..

You would have thought that they would have a better PM policy.

Zero day exploits? Good luck getting through NoScript, Flashblock, Adblock, hardware and software firewalls, and AV programs.

If they can do that I would rather my easily re-storable MMO accounts than my bank account (laughably authenticated WoW accounts are safer than any bank here in Australia).
