First off, shut up troll.

Second, I AM one of those so-called "fanboys" that realized beta problems were acceptable in beta, which makes saying this to you all that much sweeter.

Since this is no longer beta testing, this isn't acceptable anymore.

Now, shut up, troll.

Why are you here? i mean for real.... if thats how you feel... why be here? i guess you like the game a ton more than your acting.

True, but everyone that have played MMORPGs know this is common for launch week. Notice I didn't say launch day. Cryptic can estimate how many people will purchase the game and login, but until launch day they have no real clue on exactly how many people will login all at once and hammer the login server itself let alone the game servers.

I'd say give the game at least 2 weeks to a month to stabilize because they aren't God as much as everyone seems to think programmers are. Well maybe John Carmack but that is a different topic altogether.

At any rate Cryptic will work the issues the best they can and try to forsee issues best they can, but they aren't perfect and neither is any one of us. Sure you paid for a product, however you paid for a subscription not a one time happy joy ride. MMORPGs don't have the same type of production or process as other single player games due. I'm pretty sure they are very involved and a beast to handle/support.

Star Trek is a huge IP and they're not about to let it flop, hell Paramount surely isn't about to let it flop either, especially with the latest movie just out and fresh in everyone's mind. Any more horrid games/movies and the fan base is sure to leave in droves hurting Paramount's business model for ST. Heck, one of the reasons they stopped TV shows was due to the popularity and possibility of the shows getting to the point that no one wanted them anymore so they did what Disney does...they shelved it to create a demand.
