# 1 origin of your ship name

Why did you pick it any real reason or was it just random post it here.

Mine was the USS Sentinel. Named after My old Lug Trek Ambassador Class Ship. captained that thing for 18 years before it got blown up by the Hur'Q. total roleplay nerd here.

Other ship is the USS Tantalus. Another Nod to a Star trek rpg i play. it was a Galaxy class.

I picked the USS Viagara. Mainly because I plan on being up all night!

USS Soteria

Soteria is the Greek word for salvation... specifically from Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation....

I found the book too preachy, and it had no answers (had to add the obligatory Simpsons paraphrased references)

I am currently flying the USS Entropy.

The next may be either USS Schrodinger, USS Heisenberg, or off themed USS Last Stand

I think the atheist like you are sillier than most bible thumpers if not worse. Preaching and pushing ones lack of faith on other is just as bad as those who have faith pushing it on others. I don't believe in religion but I am sane enough to not get offend by others religion that I feel I need to take pot shots at them.

I named my ship after the Latin word "Annuit Coeptis" Which means "He honors Our Undertakings"
That Latin phrase is written on the back of every one dollar bill in the US. I thought it fit the Star Trek theme and I love it as a name.

Iowa class firing main guns.

Navy didn't mess around back in the day.
