# 1 Where are the melee weapons?

I've noticed many NPCs use daggers and assorted melee weapons, and the klingons have thet bat'leth, but i'm wondering where all the melee love went for federations? The only thing I used for combat in beta was a bat'leth on my fed, it really didn't seem right but at least it was a melee weapon. I would love to see more options for the melee lovers out there.

[Edited for clarification, yes I know feds can use bat'leths]

Federation players are supposed to be adapt at marial arts.

But if you want Melee weapons, when you hit Lt. Commander, head to DS9. There is a vendor that sells Bat'leths to Federation players.

I believe what the OP was referring to are Fed Specific melee weapons, not Klingon melee weapons.

That, but also I see NPCs using staves, twin swords, daggers, and here I'm wondering, "Where do I get that stuff?!"
