But the amount of WoW speak in chat is wearing me down. Most asking you to help start their "guild" or to give directions to the "auction house".
I realize it is semantics but that game really seems to have brainwashed the MMO faithful beyond repair. Tonight I saw someone trying to group to kill Hogger...
Yeah, it's really annoying and pathetic. But it's been like that in every mmo for a while now, this one being the worst so far. Wow this, wow that. I'm so sick of that freakin' pos game. **** wow.
Sorry if dozens upon dozens of MMO's have all had "guilds" and "auction houses". This is how many real words in many languages became what they are, common usage even when the "true" meaning is irrelevant or outdated. Mob, aggro, pull, raid, oor, no body is going to change their entire vocabulary for common MMO terms unless they are specificly trying to roleplay.
