A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
Since apparently some Klingons on this forum want cloak maintained with absolutely no changes, I would like to suggest a different change. Instead, I would request all Federation players get an "All power to shields" skill which makes them immobile and unable to attack, but they can never lose their shields, making them invincible. This way, bad Federation players have the opportunity to screw over a match they're losing until the opposing side throws it exactly the same as Klingons can do currently.

Have you tried using Emergency Power to shields or Reverse Shield Polarity? Everyone has access to these and they effectively do what you are asking without making anyone immobile or preventing attack. Reverse Shield Polarity takes all incoming shots and turns it in to shield power and you are invincible to attacks of this nature for the duration (but not to debuffs).

Except that when they expire, you can die. Cloaking doesn't expire, so to have an equivalent grief-capable button, ours can't either.
*edit* also, those abilities don't come standard on every Federation ship.

Yes because the answer to griefing is more griefing Seriously we've all discussed this. They need more objective based maps, the answer is not nerfing cloaking just because some morons are abusing it. And your definition of abuse last time was 2 minutes, sorry, but sometimes it takes 10 minutes to even get a full team. Again the answer is not nerfing cloak, but fixing the queuing system.
If you think someone is griefing there is a little button in the PvP map that allows you to report them, use it.

Well if you werent here for OB, I basically posted how to keep it up permanently.
So yea, by T5, you can probably rage-quit klingons. (your dps is so low that it actually doesnt really help win either)
.... unless they FINALLY added a GCD to RSP. Sucks having an entire team doing nothing but chaining 3-4 (5 almost gives T5 perma) RSPs with photonic officer to lower the duration. Hell, you can probably do this with an entire team extend shielding eachother, which apparantly lasts 30s instead of 15s.
I think they should just add a timer for no kills after x-amount of time like in champions.
imo every talent this game has, that makes someone IMMUNE to damage, should be nerfed to hell.
It is ok to have a 3-6 second OO S H I T BUTTON, but 15 seconds ? waaaaaaaat ?
3 minute+ cooldown, can be prevented by using CC before they have a chance to pop it, would be fine if people couldnt chain them.
Also shouldnt refill a shield face debuffed by shield subsystem targeting.
edit: oh and make the duration scale with shield skill, starting low and scaling decently, instead of an ability that just makes you super hard to kill for 15s even without investing points in it. That change would make it more appropriate on cruisers.

Yes. Lets cater to people because they're bad....
Cloak is very basic as is.
Any change will tilt in either direction.
Being too good if buffed, or crippling it if nerfed.
it works as intended right now and does its job well.
