You are correct, only Captain Efficiency was doubled (from +15 to +30 to skill). BOff Efficiency is still only +7.5 per BOff (stackable).

Thanks for linking to my Calc, Virusdancer. You'll be happy to know that I just loaded an update this afternoon to cover the changes for Legacy of Romulus. I'd appreciate any feedback/comments you may have, in that thread. Thanks!

Shookyang, please download the latest version and see if you're still experiencing the excess +2 Aux. If you are, post a reply in my thread with what you're selecting and I'll debug the problem.

just remember guys! those poor engineering consoles got their power bonus cut in half because cryptic was too afraid people would have too much power in their subsystems.

"Working as intended" has always translated to... "we have no idea where the code is" for Cryptic.

Plasmonic leech grants me +16 to all power levels in addition to this

Now going to look into this efficiency boff stuff. Anyways, I think I was worried over nothing, my shields are still dropping like there weren't even there. Bug/galor ship with buff stripping polarons, who knew? These power levels mean nothing if you're not buffed in pvp.

Previously said the auxiliary power level was 50, my bad.

Just you wait, people will be screaming for nerfs.
You have both Emergency Power to Shields and Emergency Power to Engines up in that picture. What is your base power levels without buffs?

When you say without buffs, do you mean the eptx powers or all the bonuses obtained from everything (gear, skill tree and passives)?

As I stated before, epte 1 grants me around ~24, epts 2 grants me around ~31. A simple substraction gives me 94 shield power and 65 engine power.

The base power level without any buffs (gear, skill tree or passives) is the number on the right side of the slash symbol. I can already imagine people scratching their heads wondering how it's possible to get 89 from base power of 15 .

Not trying to de-rail your thread here OP, but I had a feeling something like this was gonna happen:

http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/sh...d.php?t=653221

That was focused on the shield power aspect, and was before we learnt some more of what we have now, but it's there.

Won't it be fun when people really do start hitting higher tier Nukara rep and getting gear from that, including the Nukara space sets. The console gives a +5, then the engine (or one of the pieces) gets a flat bonus and then an extra efficiency bonus on top of that all for shields (similar to the Jem'hader set, one of it's pieces gives a bonus to weapon power).

Min-max it right, and you could easily see max weapons, nearly-max or max shields, and higher constant engines or aux.

To add a similar point to what Maicake said:

Remember, engineers are supposed to be some kind of master's of power by being able to get more power than the others, which seems to be totally pointless considering that everyone can get heaps of power anyways.

Edit: Looks I won't even need all those efficiency boffs to boost my power levels any further. I'll keep my human boffs with their leadership trait, which is still good imho.

So I've loaded a maco shield to get that extra power boost (very situational but it's worth it). Lol it's awesome PvPin' with 3 subsystem maxed out. I've never seen my escort move so fast. There is something very satisfying swooping in, taking off someone's shield facing so fast in alpha strike raid and finishing them off in the second raid. PvP has never been so fast paced for me. Let's have some fun while it lasts.

I dont know why those console are or should be in game. Its good to have many items to choose from ,but its not good to have many stuffs around just for the sake of it.

As for power levels ,warp cores and leech ...well ,my cruiser is cool now
