# 1 Fleet Tactical Escort problem
06-10-2013, 01:43 PM
Okay, so being a lifer I bought a Tactical Escort Retrofit with my tier V ship requisition token, thinking that it would reduce the cost of the Fleet variant to 1 fleet module. It hasn't

But Technically I have bought the ship seen as though even if I wanted to buy it with Zen I couldn't because of my ship requisition token.

Is this some sort of bug?, or am I just been an idiot in not realizing that It doesn't work that way...

Has anyone else experienced this?

Nope, working as intended. You didn't pay for the ship, you get no discount.

Sorry, but that's how they meant it to work.

You do need to have bought the TER from the C-Store to get the FSM discount for the FTER, rather than just claim it via token. I think you can still buy the TER from the C-Store even if you purchased it with a token.

Still though, why would you? Now you already have the Cloaking Device, and it costs the same amount of money in FSMs to buy the FTER as it does the TER (less, even, if you buy FSMs from the Exchange). If I were you, I'd just go straight to the FTER, as there's no advantage whatsoever in buying the TER (unless you accidentally delete the Cloaking Device).

This. Also, if you delete the ship, you can't reclaim it later.

No zen, no discount. Don't you just love money driven enterprises?
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once.

I didn't need the cloak, I only got it to see if I would get a discount on the fleet variant.

Bummer...

Well at least this post will help others in the future. Not that you have much of a choice when it comes to tokens
