To me, 'cheesing' is partly about the intent behind it. I feel 'cheesing' also means that the person knows the skill is a little wonky, is speccing their character to take full advantage of that, and is also likely teaming up with other folks using similar tactics to just cheese the f**k out of the enemy. That's just unsportsmanlike.

I've been prey to groups of 3-4 people (it's usually Feddies I see doing this) in Ker'rat combining Graviton Pulse, engine disables, scrambles, and other crap like that. I can still manage to get away half the time because they're focusing more on cheese-spamming than actually killing the enemy and getting it over with.

1. cheese is speccing to something that pisses someone off,
2. if you had an aux to dampers, or a eng team it wouldnt piss you off,
3. so my conclusion is:
4. it is cheesey because you couldnt counter it,
5. and you still think speccing to something smartly that makes me win pvp's not using cheats or exploits is unsportsmanlike

final : you just want to keep that good spike dmg build, you just wont adapt, you are too lazy, ill speak for all the scientists in the game because all of them will agree, do you have any idea of the number of builds we test and have ? of the boffs we have fully skilled, of the gears we have or the money we've spent doing respecs ? a tac build will just work, sometimes more sometimes less but it works, but a sci build will depend on the enemy specialization, we have to change weapon type if nessecary, plasma, trans and tric full builds allways in the inventory, not to talk about sets and consoles, can you make an idea of how terrible it feels to try a build with gravity well or psw? knowing that shield stripping SVCKS and you still try to do something about it with the devs just dont giving a ^^ ?, want to compare our commander skills to apo3 ? ... wanna know what i find cheesy ? running 10km away, thats cheesy, thats unsportsmanlike
it's not the ship or the build, it's the atitude

Cheese is the stuff I eat regularly, but some others seem to rather throw with cheese instead :p

Cheese is what keeps us from properly having fun and putting decent tournaments together.

Cheese is the stuff that disappears right in the middle of a PvP match so you can no longer ingest it.

Cheese is a food derived from milk, produced in a wide range of flavors, textures, and forms. It consists of proteins and fat from milk, usually the milk of cows, buffalo, goats, or sheep. It is produced by coagulation of the milk protein casein. Typically, the milk is acidified and addition of the enzyme rennet causes coagulation. The solids are separated and pressed into final form.[1] Some cheeses have molds on the rind or throughout. Most cheeses melt at cooking temperature.
Hundreds of types of cheese from various countries are produced. Their styles, textures and flavors depend on the origin of the milk (including the animal's diet), whether they have been pasteurized, the butterfat content, the bacteria and mold, the processing, and aging. Herbs, spices, or wood smoke may be used as flavoring agents. The yellow to red color of many cheeses, such as Red Leicester, is produced by adding annatto.
For a few cheeses, the milk is curdled by adding acids such as vinegar or lemon juice. Most cheeses are acidified to a lesser degree by bacteria, which turn milk sugars into lactic acid, then the addition of rennet completes the curdling. Vegetarian alternatives to rennet are available; most are produced by fermentation of the fungus Mucor miehei, but others have been extracted from various species of the Cynara thistle family.
Cheese is valued for its portability, long life, and high content of fat, protein, calcium, and phosphorus. Cheese is more compact and has a longer shelf life than milk, although how long a cheese will keep may depend on the type of cheese; labels on packets of cheese often claim that a cheese should be consumed within three to five days of opening. Generally speaking, hard cheeses last longer than soft cheeses, such as Brie or goat's milk cheese. Cheesemakers near a dairy region may benefit from fresher, lower-priced milk, and lower shipping costs. The long storage life of some cheese, especially if it is encased in a protective rind, allows selling when markets are favorable. Additional ingredients may be added to some cheeses, such as black peppers, garlic, chives or cranberries.
A specialist seller of cheese is sometimes known as a cheesemonger. Becoming an expert in this field requires some formal education and years of tasting and hands-on experience, much like becoming an expert in wine or cuisine. The cheesemonger is responsible for all aspects of the cheese inventory: selecting the cheese menu, purchasing, receiving, storage, and ripening.[2]

There is no cheese, no sploit. there are skilled pvpers who know what they using to win (these arent my words, mmorpg doesnt need skill). Scramble, grav p, double shield exploit, ams, etc... you can use evasive, imp boost, or relog to avoid it. thats sto pvp. Devs failed to make it better and they would fail to fix it again, so why bother. If its in the game, use it lol.
