everyone would enjoy a lot more ground pvp if there wasnt the "max space-min ground" skill spec ... thats the problem

another problem in ground pvp is the kits - lol - boffs can have a mix of abilities and we, the god damned captains cannot ? explanation plz

A new Doff arrives that is universally seen as 'gamebreaking'.
That very day PvPers are in the queues with these 'gamebreaking' Doffs equipped.
^^This is why people hate PvP in STO^^

now its "game over" engs were op at ground, and now with the new doffs they are gods in ground pvp

its time to forget ground pvp...

yea it has pay to win in the form of bull**** 'premium ammo', but what you should see are 3 classes, with customisable setups, and several of the powers should even look familiar. the aegis 'bubble shield' for example.

this being one reason i dont pvp in sto. too many other places where pvp is actually working.

I play GRO too, very nice PvP game. Clan T^S (Tip of the Spear) IGN DTBrandt
I have no problem competing with the top players and I do not use premium ammo or nades.

I will always play STO, but it is not PvP, more like macroed P2W. I prefer to control my own character, especially in a supposed PvP setting. Still we had some fun matches last night in Shanty Town.

yea, its when you arent running the premium stuff and they are it gets rather frustrating.
stealthed up behind this guy when i was out of ammo on my primary, emptied an extended mag worth of smg ammo into his back/back of his head, point blank, did a total of 30 damage tops.
then he turned around with a shotgun.

insane knockbacks , cloakers , jumpers , lunge, maxed threat control- ground skill specialist , no cover , respawn points in arena
ground in STO is madness , nothing mutual with Star Trek, ok mb fun for someone who likes this in 3D

sniper shots of almost 1000dmg ( no exploit, no flank )

stasis pistol exploit ( the plasma grenade still aplyes with the ambush doff, certain death )

dampening field working only 1% of the times aka it really really really sucks compared to the tac and the eng related skills

chroniton mines and trans bomb will flank 99% of the times

tactical iniciative reducing the cooldown of almost everything

lunge will almost allways hit ( reverse super-man ftw )

sword knockback exploit ( the kb should give a 5 seconds immunity to kbs )

half of the scientist skills suck ( willpower seems to counter 90% of the effect )
for exemple stasis field, it says 5 seconds fragile hold against players, but its doing only 0.7seconds ( not even enough to launch a grenade or a skill), which is nothing. even if willpower maxed was countering 50%, it should be a 2.5 hold at least
