I've watched and gone up against plenty of people with the SAFG, it's all right for what it is, keeping your shields up. What it DOESN'T do is prevent bleedthrough hull damage. You know, multiple HY/TS, transphasics, plasma burn, tetryon, etc. etc. You're in a T'Varo, it's squishy under pressure, and quite easy to melt down.

Some people are never satisfied. Just throw one of the fancy new BO doffs at it.

parced an stf i did yesterday. it still procs just as often. but i didn't have a proc larger then 7k. still, thats enough to totally heal all facing most of the time. unless i had like no shields.

the huge heal numbers were a distraction, not the main problem. its the rate that it procs wile your firing thats the issue

doesnt help in that pve content that scores you for damage and heals.

this single console allows the ship to still do both too well.

And that's why that fail RPer is defending the Valdore console in almost every Valdore thread.

One thing people have to realize with all the romulan consoles. Is that the ships are partly balanced with them in mind.

Is it still healing to much... perhaps but to say it should only be doing 200 hps or so is just silly.

IMO it should perhaps drop to 150% or from the 200% number.

This thing is only usable on Warbrids which will always have a lower shield resist number.

In order to gain the 2 piece bonuses that the ships are partly balanced around you are giving up 2 console slots.

I know the consoles are all very powerful I agree... however everyone of my roms ends up with really 1-2 usable console slots at most... because frankly a few of these consoles are needed parts of the ship. I don't use the valdore console... but I don't begrudge anyone that does now that its fixed... frankly they still die all the time. Adapt a little.

Reduce this one to 150% it is still going to out heal escort 50-60 aux healing numbers and that isn't broken at all.

As if the Romulans didn't have enough advantage in PvP, this console literally breaks PvP for me. Recently a Tac captain Dhelan has been zooming around Ker'rat with no copies of emergency power to shields and out-healing an Eng fleet torkhat. This person is able to instead use EPTE and EPTW all while out-healing people dedicated to healing due to their Shield Absorptive Frequency Generator.

This is the most broken thing I have ever seen in this game. This is worse than the free Commander shuttle power, the Jem'hadar invincible shield, the Karfi super drains, or the MACO shield that reduces damage to 10 % instead of by 10 %.

Numbers from a 1 on 1 fight available here:

http://postimg.org/image/gibrc074l/

This is an absolute joke.

In a 4 minute 1v1 this person's console activated 52 times for an average heal of 2434 per time. The Dhelan's console healed 126,592. In the same amount of time this console ALONE healed more than the engineer's 6 miracle workers, 2 rotate shield frequencies, 5 transfer shield strengths, 2 hazard emitters, 8 EPTS-1 and 4 EPTS-3. The Engineer healed only 118,192 with all those skills combined.

Is this working as intended? A single console that heals more than all the skills combined of an Engineer cruiser?

Oh and didn't even touch on the fact that this console TAKES shields from the enemy on top of all this...

EDIT: The website says, "will bleed energy from your target's shields and add it to your shields." Was told this is a misleading description not an actual drain, I don't have one so I don't know.

You can't trust figures thrown up from this thing. It will heal even if said person's shields are already at maximum health, so there will be huge amounts of healing going on that aren't actually making any difference.

Besides, burst damage goes straight through it, its not a big deal.

You can trust the numbers because it's a 4 minute long 1 on 1 where there was combat going on every second of the 4 minutes. In that 4 minutes a single console healed more than an Eng cruiser.
