I find the transphasic load out gives you the maximum rate of fire, as well as pretty good damage, on torpedo spread against multiple targets it spits out swarms of torpedoes, I also try and give it maximum stealth consoles, nees to upgrade it to fleet ones soon, but my mkXII one does well, the better your stealth the less chance of the borg locking onto you.

I.R.W. Valdore gives 0 (132283) Radiation Damage to Tal'is with Thalaron Pulse. ==> Tal'is deals 132283 Special Damage to Tal'is with Immunity Matrix

Very nice... if only the T'Varo wasn't so inclined to take maximum advantage of expensive builds!

In stark contrast, and because I couldn't be bothered making a new thread, I present a build that can be put together solely from cheap exchange purchases and mission rewards:

Hell, it's barely even a stealth bomber... It's more designed for a decloaking alpha strike.
(The Deflector is the Tal Shiar Tachyon Deflector.)

A theory-built ship I made earlier. A mix between a pure stealth bomber and a decloaking ambush bomber with a mix of wicked disabling abilities.

My apologies, forgot completely about that thread. Edited in a more relevant build.

Yah there's good damage in the Transphasic due to the high shield penetration, Breen set bonus and the damage/fire rate on the cluster/rapid reload torpedoes.

It's expensive to experiment but I'd be interested in parsing a Chroniton Flux layout using Adapted Maco 2 piece set bonus, 2 piece Temporal Disruption Device and Tachyokinetic Converter set bonus and Rule 62 Multipurpose Combat Console.

My current Fleet T'Varo, the R.R.W. Red Sky found here:

Based on B'rel build somebody posted a while back.

Features slow torps up front, fast torps in the rear, and two APOmega. The concept is pop Omega on the way in, unload your slow torps, then spin around and lay the fast torps on top of the slow ones as you move back out, if the target is not obliterated just turn around and do it again.

For packs, use gravity well for a nice tight group shot.

I easily can solo the basic cubes in Elite vortex with this build, we refer to it as "Torp Kiting".

I use 3 very rare torp doffs, and a very rare sensor scan doff.

Budget options would be replace the Thermionic with Tricobalt or Plasma, if you must use the Omega torp, it would work okay in the rear as a replacement for one of the Quantums.

In the past I did run two cluster torps, 1 front, 1 rear, but I found the 15 second global cooldown was locking out shots I could be making with other types of torps, even if they did not hit quite as hard, the dps was still better not taking 2 clusters.

Anyway here's mine, it leans more towards support/control than Verlaine's.

Red October Transphasic variant

Red October Plasma variant

Sorry to Necro the thread but I am looking at the Transphasic build and I notices for skills you have maxed out Ship Particle generators ? Is this for Gravity well? As I can't see anything else that uses exotic damage in the build...

If you have torpedoes , you can keep 9km distance from a gate without lesser dmg. So a gate not shooting on you

Mine is a bit more expensive than others, and is a bit more plasma based. The planner says tractor mines, but that would be in lieu of the Nukara web mines, which are insanely effective. Jevonite Hardpoints would be a choice for 2nd device.

Boffs are all Romulans with Romulan operative and subterfuge.
For doffs: 3x Projectile Weps, 1 aux while cloaked Technician. I'd also like to have a Aux2SIF damage control engineer, but they're kinda expensive.
For power, aux is at 125, rest goes to engines.

So I'm not at all specced into shields because of EBC, so the majority of my protection is from cycling hull heals and resists, and my defense value from cloaking and speed, which is floating around 135% at max. It can be a bit flimsy at times, but I do notice NPCs missing me quite often, borg included. I typically don't die more than once in an STF. Basically, my biggest problem is the potency (as in self-damage) and unpredictability of my own weapons.

The forward torpedoes I keep on autofire, and they generate quite a torpedo spam that plows through NPCs rather quickly. Alot of spike damage also comes from behind. Unfortunately, I find my web mines hog most of the damage. In absence of those, tractor mines and tractor beam go a long way to holding enemies still, because of the slowness of the torps. Just for reference, my DPT does a lovely 40k damage. I have yet to fully appraise this build for PvP, but for PvE it's fantastic and hilarious.
you should look at the breen set all around
