# 1 Legacy pack ripoff!!?!?!?
08-15-2013, 01:39 PM
I recently wanted to purchase the legacy pack

The Legacy pack is advertised as $159 HOWEVER when i try to purchase it it comes up on paypal as 169 euros which is calculated 225 dollars i feel RIPPED OF, this is blatant false advertisment and i want to buy it for the price it was advertised with.

I can understand Tax but i am in NO way believing that there is a 40% tax! considering the taxes here is 21% this is just PADDING to Squize more money out of european customers!

EVEN if i calculate the supposed 212 dollar value of the pack back i get a 159 Euros!

Is there a VAT tax? I've heard talk of that before on the forums. Not sure if that's the case here or not, but just a thought...

You forgot that 1 euro equals 1.33 dollars...

That would explain your problem

edit: 169 euros equals $225.56

They would not be trying to rip you off. if its advertised at a certain price and you have your tax rate correct then that is what it should be and if its not then there is an error and they will fix it. (keep in mind some banks and cards also have transaction fees for between different currencies which may also be a factor?)

on the surface it sounds like an error somewhere. calm down, contact billing support and find out what happened. possibly contact your bank as well. it wont get resolved on the forums. you need to talk to them directly.

no there is

he knows 169 = 225. that is what we was charged. the point is the pack is meant to be 119 euroes. even with the tax rate it should not be 169

The advertised price in dollars is not the same as the current value of the dollar in whatever currency you hold. Generally they have different pricing schemes depending on where you are to account for the discrepancy in currency value.

Odd...

If I go to the pack it's listed as 16,000 Zen.

If I buy zen you could get enough plus more by getting the $100 pack and the $50 pack with a total of $150 dollars.

When going through paypal mine does show exactly $150 (would be more for me since i'm Canadian so I need to pay a little more).

To be honest I don't know, it looks fine for me.

If you have a credit card try doing the transaction through that (don't actually go through with it though) and see if you get the same price.
