Now that your aux isn't drained and you can use other aux skills, you can slot dampers or structural instead, and your sci heals will work better so should be much tankier.

A ship with Cmdr and lt tac already has enough tac, a2b makes it give up to much for to little return on these ships, its not worth having drained aux and giving up 2 eng abilities and 3 doff slots for it.
Valid points, the ship can do well. Just not as good as it could have with a slightly different seating. That is all I am saying. Even the current seating could have been used if you had some more turn, 17, or some more speed. Just something to make it stand out.

The only thing that stands out is the plasma focus for damage. But plasma is meh for me, never liked it and common ways to counter, there are better procs out there.

like i guessed, this thing has a hanger now.

its the romulan armatige, only with a more useful ENS station, 1 better turn, 500 less hull, and a battlecloak with singularity powers and all that. according to STO wiki, it only costs 2k zen too, not 2500 like the armatige.

Meh, yeah...I had created the Twisted Suggestion thread in the hopes that folks would make me laugh - take my mind off of how much I'm starting to hate this game...and then Cryptic did this...meh.

The hanger makes it interesting but still inferior to JHEC

id argue that with anything similar to each other, the ship with the battleclaok is the superior ship.

Personal preferance really.. The boff layout is also better in a JHEC IMO and you get 20% more hull. Also cloak is not the end all be all. Cloak, decloak it's all the same in a meat grinder. Perhaps even worse as you drop your cloak and try to run away, a JHEC can stay and fight.

I'd trade my KDF JHEC guy for a Rom Ar'kif...even a non-Fleet version. It's painful being the only non-cloaking guy on a team in a JHEC. I've even seen more Defiants out there, cause they'll equip the console. Could just be a string of bad luck on my part...but with 10 folks on the field, if I'm in the JHEC - I'm usually only one of 2-3 folks that aren't cloakers.

Have to keep in mind, you're comparing a Lockbox boat to a non-Fleet boat. A Fleet Ar'kif would have -2850 Hull, -0.01 Shield Mod, for the +3 Turn and Battle Cloak. You give up a Device Slot...have Base40 Subsystem, pick up the Singularity Abilities.

With the Ar'kif, you've got the potential for a more decloak attack...that mix of BO, CRF, TS. Set the pets to Escort somebody else (hope that it actually works and they don't end up returning to you so you get caught in a GW dropped on them) and well...
