# 1 rcs accelerator question

with a a ship that has 6 turn rate and 4 engineer filled with rcs accelerator slots with 40 turn rate what would the turn rate reach? also whats the fleet rcs accelerator turn rate per
console ?

The first part I can help with...

You have +40% turn rate consoles. That would be +2.4 turn rate per console. Unfortunately, all consoles determine their bonus only from the "base" value - no compounding. Therefore 6 + 2.4 + 2.4 + 2.4 + 2.4 = 15.6, or mid range science vessel maneuverability levels - at the cost of most/all your defense...

Don't have any fleet RCS's yet, so I can't tell you what kind of bonus they give...
Well, with the upgrade announcement leaving NX and Connie fans in the dust again, can we restart / revisit the T5 Connie and NX threads - since they will no longer be "truly" endgame ships... (after we get the T5 versions, it'll be time to see them added to the T5U upgrade charts too...

15.6 I think? If each console is +40% to the base turn of 6, thats +2.4 per.

6 + (2.4 * 4) = 15.6.

And the Fleet RCS are just one tick better than the standard ones, so like a Mk11 purple is +40%.

ok the very rare rcs are 40 so arent the fleet ones 41?

Fleet Mk12 are (I think) +42.5%, so a full rack would be total turn of 16.2 plus engine and captain skill (and 4 of your fleets provisions). If you're trying to make a cruiser dance, something with a base turn of 6 may not be a good starting point.

Some items are bound to account. Others are bind to character once used. RCS consoles fall into the latter category.
