The title pretty much says it all, I'm deploying elite Scorpions in the sphere and within a couple seconds of their launch they all vanish. I can't tell exactly what's getting them, if they're killing themselves on the Voth damage reflecting shields or getting caught in explosions or what, but the upshot is that they aren't living long enough to contribute at all in a fight.

I'm sorry that I don't have any more details than that to help track down what's killing them so quickly, but something is definitely wrong with their lack of survivability; they don't just all pop like that against any other opponent.

Just bad luck man. Even after the pet revamp fighters of any kind popped easy. Oftentimes on crystalline catastrophe my scorpions would practically blow up on the hangar deck.

Ironically it's the new obelisk swarmers that have proved surprisingly survivable because voth ships don't hit fire at will as often and they circle a target, pulling them away from he reflect damage shield facings.

What on the Voth doesn't kill fighters quickly. Aceton Device has an AoE that eats them alive, Gravity well eats them alive, Tyken's Rift eats them alive. I've looked at my combat logs, and anything that does exotic damage eats them alive, and the Voth use all kinds of it in AoE format. Oh and they have that mobile Aceton Field that eats them alive too.

The more and more I fight them, the more and more I'm honestly thinking of giving up my pets in place of just superior hull and shield. I'll lose some DPS, but it beats the heck of constantly having to spam them

Yeah, I'm considering shelving my carrier and switching to an escort for all of the Voth content. On top of not relying on super fragile pets for much of my utility, it gets much easier to move around and do things like escape exploding city ships.
