for me grinding is not the biggest problem for this S8
I have made thousands (think like 100k omega marks grinded) of estf, earning some time to time with bonus hour till 130 omega marks for one estf. and you are happy to get them even if You have done them so much already before
Nukara ground, Defera Ground, even new Romulus ground was ok for me. I liked and still go to Defera to maker hard run as they are fun. I just advert in fleet channel or in zone and I find people even vet lts like me to do it.
but those battlezone it's simply anarchy everywhere.
If you can't form a team with fleet mate or friends what to do ? wait ?
tried to do some event in space, it's nice when 20 Voth mega ships spawn where u are, alone of course in an escort. and in the end, you die ? Does it means those zone are for dread, cruiser only ?
I can tank a cube without issue but facing 20 ships at same time is something different.
On ground, welle same issue, without team it's anarchy and even more grinding to get those omega particle to call reinforcement ...
The worse is the reward of the 2 pve.
why can I have 65-130 omega marks doing ise-kse-cse regularly and those new pve only 25-50 ... why so much differences ?
and I still haven't understand how I got the dyson commendations as I was doing the succession of mission and haven't notice something special. lack of explaination I find
True there is a lack of explanation in the season 8.
I did a few rounds because I can't make a thread without trying it for myself, true.
And yes to an early post you can make a good dilithium sum and make decent marks, but if you ran it with the fleet couple of times you turn around with lets have fun and you jump a mountain and start shooting trex from up there.
But after 3 nights we had like we saw it let's try to find something else we as a fleet have are starbase done, our dilithium mine is done our embassy is done all the personal stuff is done most of us are all outfitted with fancy stuff, when new stuff appears on C-Store we buy it if we like it we even have one member who bought everything from C-Store grinded all the stuff there is and even he says I'm bored, all I trying to tell here is what happened on making a good written story that inspire you and earn marks with that contend, make the content with different outcomes it will affect your crew in different ways.
For instance after the fed tutorial start from there start rewriting the story's so they fit as an long story make it so that every outcome can infact your crew.
Make your Boofs inter active so they learn to be better.
You don't have to be a smart programmer to make it possible right, otherwise mod developers wouldn't never find a way to walk over the bridge Star Trek Bridge Commander.
They never would've made new adventures in Star Trek Armada .
as much as i love Star Trek Armada 1 and 2 its really just command and conquer with a star trek skin
the age of launcher... is over...!! the time of the ARC has come!!!!!!!!!
One ARC to rule them all, One ARC to find them,
One ARC to bring them all and in the darkness bind them!
actual joining date = no one cares!!!!
As a fleetmate of mine said, it is only a grind if you make it a grind. If you do not enjoy playing this game's content in order to access more content, then you should not be playing the game.
THIS. I am shocked at how many people play this game that seem to only want to get more "goodies." What are you going to do with those "goodies?" Sit in ESD and complain that you managed to get what you wanted? (Sadly the answer to this is often enough "yes")
Myself, I play Foundry and go out and pound on the bad guys in the missions that I particularly enjoy. I may not "grind" as much as I used to, and there are a few missions I undertake with a slight cringe, but overall I find the game engaging, and that's why I want the good stuff in the first place - because I already like the game.
People who want to get a shiny for its own sake and hate the entire game around it might do well to consider just why they want the shiny in the first place, I think. An additional 1000 shield HP and reactive resistance, for instance, isn't going to do you a lot of good if you hate everything associated with both attaining and using it.
