Ok so I lucked out and found a key this morning and started download from file planet.
After an initial 13 min queue my download began, this was at 9am central. By 5pm central
I had downloaded 17%....not great but opening day of OB...I knew there would be problems.
When my wife got home I turned to talk to her and when I turned back I had been ousted from downloading and stuck back in the queue. Number 2974 of 4279.
I know on the web page it says that the other sources will be faster -- but my thruput on FilePlanet was abysmal and kept surging and quitting.
Then I tried the regular Cryptic STO game downloader program and it ran at pretty close to my DSL line's capacity speed. Started last night around 7pm, was finished this morning at 10am.
