I see the points...aux2sif with the hot seems to be more then enough to counter the bleed with rsp live...

I'll try going more resist then straight heal...transfer shield strength just never seems to heal much of anything...the shield resist is nice but I never feel like it's much of a saver.

I prefer epte over epts, speed and turn does so much in pvp, I'd rather be able to chase down or run then stay around and be continuely pummeled.

I'll give aux2damp a try.

If anything I guess I'll go back to double aux2bat...it just gives you more access to more abilities...and popping an aux bat for a heal isn't exactly hard to do...

Thanks for the pointers, thus far

yeah epte is the way to go, but you can have both running at the same time. In the end, it's all about what works for you but having epte and epts is really really really good advice on a non-cloaking ship.

Is tbr and tss really that good?

Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but is it better go all in dps with a few minor heals and hope for cross healing?

I found myself shifting more towards staying power then power bursting. I could try a more dps powered approach I suppose...not like it's hard to swap boffs...

3 techs, warp core cleanser, marion, rsp doff

It would do excellent 1v1 and 1v2, but the aux2bat felt extremely clunky in pvp...

Maybe I should just go back to it...

A build trying to emulate it would be this..
http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?...pleshbadidea_0
3 dce doffs, marion, warp core engineer and a shield dis I guess... that build just looks like suicide though...

I hate how much an aux2bat build makes sense in pvp...it just gives you so many options...

And then the single aux2bat
http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?...ppleshokidea_0
3 techs, warp core cleanser, rsp, marion.

Tss could be a tbr or fbp...

Yep...i can't get away from it...what's really left for me to decide is if I should ditch an lt. engineer for a sci in double aux2bat or what...

I guess some form of aux2bat will stay...

TBR does great kinetic damage with a huge push. The kinetic damage is based on your particle gen points and the push is based on your aux power and graviton points. With A2B you dump all your aux power so you get the direct to hull damage without the push. APA can boost it to some crazy good numbers. After being subnuked I've had over 2k each tick on me. My hull melted pretty fast.

TSS is castable, which is nice, but it also gives a shield resist. It's great to use for just a standard shield heal, but its great to use after being subnuked. I do know some people do fine without it and if you play with a team most often then you might not need it.

EDIT: Whatever works for you is the best. I'm just showing you other options

This is a build I would totally do:

Again, just showing options.

TBR is an amazing ability in my opinion. One of the best ones, up there with hazard emitters.

-It's possible to use it as a tractor, at the same time with grav well. Melt people's hull.
-It can help you locate an escaping cloaker and it really really hurts them if they happen to not have enhanced battle cloak (they can't heal).
-It ignores shields.
-The damage doesn't fluctuate with aux power, meaning you can damage someone without pushing them away.

While we're talking Raider options, I'd like to chime in that not everything has to be A2B.

I've recently tried something like this in the queues:
http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=mesraider_0
Ran with 3 DCE doffs, a MES doff and an A2Damp doff. Would add GW doff if 6th slot was available.

Was fun, reasonably effective and plenty survivability. More than I'd expected, anyway. Exchange MES for TSS, PH or TB if not preferring to decided on when to engage. I had Aux2SIF on the lt eng, so I could easily flip it with my GW.
