sorry, my glasses arent rose colored about pvp in the past. i dont remember it ever being perfect, there was always something around that would ruin everything. the helish science of launch pvp, all the good and bad of 1.2, OP faw and the breaking of the weapons energy hard cap, scramble spam out the ass, pet and mine spam, faw again, siphon drones, doffs, the bug ship table flipping escort balance, lock box ships and consoles, the buff of the bug, 2 AtB, fleet holdings, warbirds, EPtE buff, AtD doff, spire holding tac consoles and active roster, no cooldowns on any clears rendering every single thing that can be cleared useless, super boosted DPS or clicky console vap being the only thing that works any longer
ok its proboly a bit worse now adays then it was 2 or 3 years ago, but at least everything is more evenly screwed without such huge outliers as would pop up in the past.
I miss cap & splode. Have been too busy grinding to wait the thirty plus minutes for the queue to pop.
If Star Citizen releases before they overhaul - and yes, there has to be a major overhaul - PvP, they might as well just take it out of game.

I actually avoid success entirely. It doesn't get me what I want, and the consequences for failure are slim. -- markhawman
I started playing 2 years ago. It's been a wild ride, but pvp in this game has always been in a bad shape the entire time I've been here. Back then, I was very optimistic about the state of things. I miss that feeling of hope for a brighter future.
I want an official persistent officer title.
