Character: Andorian (created before patch)
How do you provoke the error: talk to "customize clothing" and move the mouse over your name.

Error-message: Costume validation for player error: Name: Jhral, Bone Stm_Headattachorganic, Geo M_Headattacho_Andorian_01, Color0 is not the color set 'Full_Skoncolorset' for this geo. , Bone Stm_Headattachorganic, Geo M_Headattacho_Andorian_01, color1 is not in color set 'Full_Skincolorset' for this geo. ---- ect ect

Solution: Change your appearance once more completly, you can select the same things you took in the first place and purchase.

I had that too. They changed what options are allowed by race.

My Andorian had the same issues yours did. Just going in and modifying him at all made the required changes.

My Betazoid had an error too; only pure black eyes are now allowed (per canon).

New characters will be made under the new rules, so there should be no issues.
