Im just wondering since I have a video card cooler here that seems like a total waste since its installed under the gtx260 it does nothing to really help the card stay cool. If it was in the slot above the card I can see how it would help since it pulls air up and out through the card cooler then out the pc case..

I have a triple sli mainboard EVGA Nforce 790i ultra sli

check your motherboard manual... make sure the PCIe (not PCI-X, thats actually a different thing) slot you want to use is full bandwidth and everything for running a graphics card... theoretically it wouldn't be a problem, but I've seen some weird motherboards.

typically, GPUs are in the 'top' slot by default.. Double check the motherboard specs first tho to be sure les your house burns down like the others! :p
