Thanks for the quick response. The nag screens don't bother me too much with winzip since I rarely use it.

Simple way to bypass, assuming the Torrent is still up.

Start the torrent, kill ALL files except the 'setup.exe' file. All you need is that one (it's less than 3 megs). Once you get it, run it, and you're good. The installer will see there are no valid files locally, and connect to the patch server (again, assuming that's up, since Beta is done). It'll be a 10+ gig download, but it doesn't take long.

Alternatively, if you can't get the Torrent to work, someone may have their archive intact, and can email you that one file (unless Cryptic breaks out the ban hammer for that idea...) and you can go from there.

That's how I got it to work for me at any rate. Just ran setup.exe, and it was a done deal.

Not to argue with a staff member (sorry coderanger) but Windows can do files over 4GB, you've just got to be using the NTFS file system.

....And probably not IE (have seen this have issues).

Not that it can't have files that big, it just can't unzip zip files over 4GB ...
