Yes, there was a wipe between beta and headstart.

Ok, so I guess I'll play as my Borg character.... That sucks, but at the same time a relief.

Almost every MMO wipes characters after beta, so yes we did loose ours.

Make sure you read thru the threads....there's been problems with the borg.

It's traditional to wipe the servers after each stage of beta. From here on out, no more character wipes.

Really? A wipe in a month from now would surely make front page news due angry players assaulting cryptic HQ with fake phaser and real Bath'let (or how the hell you name those silly excuses for a blade)
