What graphic options are heavy hits to the video card and are mostly liking causing video lag?

I tried finding and turning off the v-sync, but I couldn't find it. I already turned down the shadows, AA and anitrophic filtering.

Thanks!

Dynamic lighting isn't exactly at its best in the current release. It's buggy for some users and even killed a few peoples graphics cards apparently.

Some guy put his gpu in the oven at like 280 degrees for 10 mins and it resoldered itself after it was murdered by dynamic lighting. I think that's what I read.

I've got a ATI 3850. It can run textures at 200% and AA at 8x, but damn if dynamic lighting doesn't mess it up. So I turned the lighting features to low, everything else at high, and it runs like a charm.

Is this normal?

Dynamic Lighting, Post-Processing, Rendering and Anti-Aliasing. At least these are the ones I play with to get rid of choppiness. I don't recommend turning them all off because if you do, it'll look quite crappy.
