To be fair, I found ALL face implants horrid.

Couldnt they make some stylized implants a-la 7 of nine's?

I am not looking for a complete copy, just on the same styles.

I disagree with a full on borg costume. We are liberated borg so why would we have all that stuff. An implant they couldn't remove is fine(something smaller though please devs) but think about it from a STO perspective. Would starfleet allow a full on borg to command a ship? I think not.

I don't recall saying no borg anywhere should have the borg outfit I am just saying that for the CAPTAIN of a starfleet or klingon vessel it's tacky. I don't expect you to agree but my arguement isn't moot.
