A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
I hated this mission before since it was 30 min in my Miranda trying to get the Hostage ship below 30. It did seem to be on the easy side now. I'll take it as is especially since the old strategy was load up front & go in reverse(before the reverse drain).
I liks it better when it was hard. Finally something that made you stop and think, even consider *gasp* teaming up. I thought it was great.
Note that I am 95% a game soloer.
While I did complete this one solo in OB (after getting blown up a ton of times in the Light Cruiser), I am glad they toned it down so that you can solo it without pulling your hair out. But I agree it is more on the easy side now.
This seems true in several areas, but given time and feedback I am hoping a good balance can be found. If not, maybe they will institute a difficulty setting for players to chose from. Then players can set it to a level they personally - though this should be reflected in the rewards.
I think it took me maybe 30s to beat the hostage ship this time around. I started off with a torpedo, jammed its sensors so it just sat there, finished off the damaged shield facing and launched a high yield torpedo and it was all over. Real easy, but everything has been very easy so far.

I'm not against teaming up but when it is a multi-part mission they should mention that the end ship will be near impossible to solo if they kept the old difficulty. I like to solo since I fly around trying to get all the samples.

For the love of all thats holy, do you mean a cruiser as in a LEVEL 11 SHIP? pre-nerf hostage ship was killable in a miranda with the right tactics at level 6... I cant even fathom a L11 cruiser having a issue with it.
Before it was a little too hard took about 9 attempts at lvl 6, now it is far too easy as everything is now, its better then it was when they really nerfed difficulty but its still too easy.
