Sorry, I expected downtime during the headstart, but how about a frickin ETA?

ASAP is only an ETA if the server is being rebooted.

2.5 hours is not ASAP, and not having an update after 2 hours is not ASAP either.

1st, it took 30+ minutes before cryptic even acknowledged the server was down, and then they gave us no ETA.

Now, here we are 2.5 hours on and still no update.

ASAP doesn't always been immedately after..


asap is used on reservations and such for invitations that took days to respond my snail mail for weddings and such..

I think what he's saying is at the very least let us know a best guess. If they think it is going to be down for two hours then say something to that effect or say check back in an hour.

Not updating leads to frustrated players who can still cancel their orders. Many players, like myself, haven't fully decided whether to play beyond the headstart. GameStop can easily give me my 5 bucks back. I like the game, but I've been dealing with Cryptic since Alpha stages of City of Heroes days when Cryptic first started in the MMO business.

One would think five years later they'd have a better response time and at least some sort of "fire plan" in place.

I welcome this downtime, was luck to be playing since 8:00AM EST this morning till the server crashed at around 3:15PM EST. I just hope I dont loose my new phaser rifle that I picked up right before the crash.


Downtime = Go do some work around the house

Easy : the game will work properly as soon as the Europeans fall asleep. Then it will be down as soon as the Americans log back in tomorrow. The server cannot hold both continents at the same time. Monday will be fun.

There is no ETA as nothing is expected to be arriving.

Lol, dont blame we Europeans! Although an ETA would allow me to make an informed choice about an appropriate bedtime however.
