Anyone got ant idea whats in this 10 gig patch as they hav,ent bothered to let us know,
So much for the release notes section above or do we download, play and find out what they fixed or added before they post.
I imagine that right now they are focusing more on resolving the various issues that have been cropping up since Headstart began yesterday. I don't mind that they haven't updated the release notes, so long as they are patching the bugs and such.
You're getting it from Steam. No 10 gig patch, just some issue with Steam that wants you to redownload the entire client. Not a Cryptic issue, but a fault at Steam. There's workarounds, search the forums.
The patch I had from beta to the headstart client was like 42mb. 10 gig is the size of the entire client. Also, the patch server was up in between those times, so you could have patched up as they updated, you just couldn't play.
