I just did one Exploration2 mission, and I got two Exploration1 missions that I have done earlier. The latter have now showed up again, but how frequent are these missions? I would like to perform more Expl2 missions before I gain too many levels. I want to buy some equipment.

As it was, I became Lt. Commander before I was offered enough Expl1 missions so I had no use for those badges any more. Now I wonder if I'll become Commander before I get to use my Lt. Commander Exp2 gear

they shoudl be repeatable
you should ge tthe go to x and run 3 missions, then after you do the 3 random missions in the exsploration zone, call it in and retake

You can do the missions as fast as you can enter them. You don't need the formal Exploration quest. Each stand alone run tendsto give you 5-10% of a level so they are a pretty quick way to level in themselves without the formal quest.

The formal quests pops up every 30 minutes (from time last finished).

you dont get exsploration tokens unless you complete the formal one tho do you?
