***Resolved Issues***
  • "Login failed for unknown reason" error
  • Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
  • Slow patching in the launcher
  • A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally

I blame the Borg. Cryptic has been assimilated. Did they have technological distinctiveness? I suppose they must have.

Cute, it reminds me of the "You are not prepared!" posts people where doing when WoW BC launched ... and the servers were messed up.

These are par for the course for MMO launches. The publishers (eg Atari) want their money so they put pressure on the development houses to get it out there ... I've seen many good games go bad and fail because of an impatient greedy publisher putting the game out before it was ready (Warhammer Online the most recent example).

One wonders what the industry would be like without the likes of EA and Atari ...
