This just worked for me, but ymmv.

Cancel login attempt, retry, repeat as needed. My 4th retry got my in instantly when it was reporting that I was 47 out of 938 for the past 10 minutes.


I did this out of frustration, mostly, but it worked.


Edit: Map changes in-game are craptacularly slow, though.
