How any of these idiotic ignorant threads are people that don't actually read the complaint going to make?

If you play a Klingon (judging from your avatar), then turn rates are not an issue. Klingon ships have a much higher turn rate even on your biggest ships. It does seriously take forever and a day to simply turn the Galaxy class cruisers around which is kinda imbalanced compared to the other ships even at the same size.

really i could understand if we were asking for a lot. but all we are asking for is 2 or 3 more points in turn. seriously, that isnt game braking. and, it could be ballanced real ez. i fail to see how that is gana make cruisers the "best" or "only" choice. at that rate it will still have the lowest turn rate amoungst fed ships. I also dont see why every thing in the game couldnt get the same boost adding the same number across the board. I think thoes that say its bad must 1 have never tried cruisers, and 2 are mabe even just trolling. anyone i've talked to that i've seen in a t3 or higher cruiser (expecially a t4) in game have major complaints about the turns. I mean it litterly takes over a min to turn even with all the right skills. without evasive i mean cause it shouldnt take that just to turn around in less than that. so as i have stated before. Go get a t3 or t4 cruiser fly it, try to stay in it and do missions for even 2 or 3 hours, then come talk to us. if you havent, you really shouldnt be slamming our post.

Where do you see your "turn rate" in the game? I'm asking due to the server being offline and I don't remember seeing that stat.

You can make fairly sharp turns on a Cruiser if you merely slow down a bit. Try hitting "Q" a couple times, then speeding back up with "E".
Turn rate is fine.

You do realize that even when traveling at 1 quarter impulse, with Emergency Power to Auxiliary and Evasive Maneuvers all active it still takes the Galaxy roughly 40 seconds to complete a full turn right?

Turn rate is totally fine

There are creative ways to get out of any situation. I haven't had any problems yet. If you can assess the situation and go beyond a solution of merely "turning", you will succeed where other's have failed.

There are other options beyond turning.

If you go to where you get your new ship when you get a new rank (and also where the exploration badge merchants are), you can see the stats for ships at the consoles around the outside of that area. It lists the base turn rate there.

You can see your turn rate by looking at your engine slot.
