Were is my graphics card fitting in? I am having so much trouble getting into the game and when I do get in the second I have to go to another screen I stall it seems.
Thank you so much for your help.
You might want to post this on the tech forum; that's where the real geeks hang out <LOL>. However, they ARE having server problems, been having them all day. That might be the problem and not your card.
That's my 2c. I'll let others who know FAR more then me actually figure out the problem if it can be your system.

Your graphics card is lacking a little. :/ the 7300gt is pretty old... actually its like ancient with how fast GPU's come out now.
Even the 8800, despite being a great card, is a little old.
That being said, you could pick up a 8800gt or gts
Required is an 8800... and I think the 7300 may have come out after, but... it might be best to upgrade?
One problem I am seeing though is that the nVidia 7300 is an AGP card, and most newer cards are PCI Express 2.0... Which means you may have to upgrade your motherboard. -.-
He can't get a good vid card with that motherboard? Ah well, New Egg always has good hardware deals.
Well... AGP is pretty old. The standard now seems to be PCI Express 2.0 and x16. At least for nVidia cards.
You can't even find 7 series nVidia cards in most places anymore. They are literally like 8+ years old maybe?
That being said, you can get a decent 200 GTS series card from eVGA for around 100$, and a decent motherboard for about the same, but you would have to check the processor socket and such. Honestly you can build a nice PC for about 1000$ or less now. At least one that will run STO.
Buy a new card, look at a ATI HD 5870 or something liek that, awesome cards.
2nd:
failing the new card (not enough funds right now) before game starts, click on options, and go to the absolute lowest you can, that way you will not ahve too many issues, but that is a temporary fix until that new card gets there....
