As far as Starters, if you choose Tac officer, you get a different ship. Similar to the Miranda, but yet different. And I have seen a third ship that again, looks similar, but is thinner and must be the Science ship. Don't tell me all three are the Miranda....

Really good site! Some (hopefully constructive) comments:
* Add a background image (like a very light translucent starfleet symbol or something)
* I don't care for the pagination of skills. I'd *like* to see them all at once, especially since you have the filters in there. Or maybe instead of just pages, there could be one page per rank?
* Oh yeah, they are referred to as skills in the game, not abilities. I just noticed that last night when I was talking to the skills trainer in Sol (where you get all the skills text in one spot!)
Those comments are great, I'll make the changes to the wording. I will also be adding an option to display more than the 7, so 10, 15, all in a little list box so the user can select their own preference. Great thoughts though, let me know if you have any more!
