I played as often as i could for the last 4 days... had to work friday and monday... servers were down hours on saturday, sunday, monday... mabe some friday.. grr.. but when i could play, i played alot. many many hours of fun.

I only made LTC grade 2. People makeing Rear Admrial in that ammount of time boggles my mind... but it isn't unheard of. Power gamers always seem to find a way.

From my point of view, as a pretty hard core gamer, i'm still only starting out with my tier 2 ship.. and have a long road a head of me. A nice change of pace over CO... in which i had a lvl 35 af the end of it's headstart.

I made my character on day 0 of headstart but didn't actually get to play at all until last night....

I would imagine there are a few admirals out there. Some people push for the level cap as hard as they can(take days off of work, crap in a bedpan at the computer, etc). The devs said somewhere that level cap could be acheived in 80 hours of solid leveling time, and I don't think there have been 80 hours of server time in the last 3 days.

My guess would be these guys found an exploit and are hitting it hard before it is fixed. It happens with every MMO launch. Typically, a reference to fixed exploits comes out in a week or two and we never hear from the level capped people again.

*shrugs*

Since the beginning of Headstart, I have logged just around 16 hours in-game and my character is Lieutenant 5. So, at that pace, I figure I am good for about 160 hours of so with one character.

Figuring that now that the game is lauched, I'll be in about 8- 10 hours per week, that one character should last me to about June before I see the rank of Admiral. It will be even longer if I decide to make a Klingon as well or test fly the other two classes before I get too far in.

So, meh... let the rushers rush. I will just make sure not to read their rants about engame when they start posting them.

Cheers!

I'm about to hit Lt.Cdr 5, and that was pretty much non stop playing on saturday and sunday (When the servers were up). If people already got to Admiral, they must have been doing something dodgy. The servers weren't even up enough to get to that rank in this timeframe. :-/

They only rush because the game detracts from their fapping time.

Could also have been GMs/guides/testers that were bumped in rank to test high end missions for bugs.

In all honesty, open Beta felt more like closed beta and head start felt like an open Beta.

Yes the leveling in the game is to easy. I have stated that since OB started that the game isn't going to last past a month when everyone is already Admiral before they have to pay.

I'm Currently lvl34 or captain grade 4, I have played maybe12 hours at most on the each sat and Sunday, 8 hours Monday and none today. (still at work). Zero exploits,I've done every quest given and never repeated the secure sector quests. You can hit admiral in 40 hours game play or less if you arnt retarded and decide to kill every Klingon and romulan on the map. Do the minimum kills to get the mission done. I assure you I have "experianced" more "content" in this game than 99% of you. Oh, no pvp yet either.

Also sorry for any typos or general bad format. I'm typing this off a phone during my break.
