Would be great if you could right click a vessel and select "match speed" so your throttle tries to adjust to the speed of the vessel you are following or fighting.

That would definitely be great, especially when flying escorts or fighters.

Nice idea but I don't think there should be an new option called 'match speed' but the ability should be added to 'follow' optian if you know what I mean. So you right-click on the person you want to follow and select 'follow' and doing that would make you match there speed and of course follow them. Just a thought

But I think cryptic has more important things and there mind ATM

Certainly need something. during battle also, match speed should be included in follow target. Other games like freelancer have this option.

I like it, especially for escorts. Also those missions where you are escorting other ships. I keep losing them because I get too far ahead.
