# 1 Seriously?

Ok , I play Klingon Exclusively, and after skimming the boards here is what I have gathered.

1. Cloak is overpowered
2. Our Cannons Are overpowered
3. Our turn rate is unfair
4. and finally our Ground combat is unfair

Seriously? Did I miss anything?

Come on! And people actually post their agreement to these things.

So I guess my question is this

1. Is there an ability at ALL on fed side to detect and decloak a Klingon ship?
2. Have you ever seen what a well equipped Escort (with cannons btw) can do to a BOP?
3. BOP Turn rate and Escort turn rate is similar is it not?
4. Best Ground PVPer I ever saw was a Fed guy he was a tiny little whirling devil of pain, and my group and I thought he was awesome. Stun/Desintigrate seemed to work well for him .

Finally, I think that overall I have lost as many if not more times than I have won this is in T2. In T1 it was a streight up ass jamming to the Feds I will admit this.

I think it's fairly even for the release, they will fix/tweak/Nerf? things to make more balanced.

The detector ability of science ships has about a 2-3 km range, no Klingon ship ever comes that close before either running away or attacking, so the cloak counter is completely useless. The sensor sweep can only be used ifyou already have a target, so it's also worthless.

Yes, a well equipped escort does have the same firepower as a klingon ship, but it has no cloak so its still worse. Also Klingon cruisers can be used like escorts, with cannons, while no escorts with the same ammount of durability exist.

Sure, the turn rate on escorts and science ships is ok, the main disparity is in cruisers. Klingon cruisers have huge turn speeds, federation cruisers have atrociously bad turn speeds, and that's on top of the fact that Klingon cruisers can carry cannons and have cloaks.

Ground combat in this game is pretty much nothing but luck anyways. First one to get an expose/exploit combo off wins, everything else is meaningless. Since Klingons can also stealth on the ground though they have the advantage in that too.

Please,

All the Feds really want for Christmas is a big shiny red " I WIN" bottom.

Stop making it a slow death and just come out and say it.

Generally speaking Klingon players are more of a PvP ilk. Thus they generally have a better grasp of tactics and are quicker to learn and adapt.

Feds generally are composed (at least from what I have seen) of people who for the most part want nothing to do with PvP and are used to AI fights.

When a living thinking opponent lays a whipping on you, try learn and adapt (say like...... the big orange FedBall) before crying on the boards that the person who beat you did so because they are OP'd.

The only complaint i have is inadequate cloak detecting ability.
I mean c'mon 2-3 Km, thats practically worthless, your average klingon can do a lot of damage without even getting that close, not to mention a tractor lock can be established already at 5km.

Its crap one side always says the other is over powered and for as long as there is PvP the cry will go up.

Got spotted at about 8k earlier today (definately got shot at that range, while cloaked in my raptor)
