So, I get my new Constitution (old) ship with my GameStop pre-order. Since I've been naming my ships after my wife's nickname ("Moose". Don't ask. Long story.) I thought that I would attempt to be clever and give it the NX registry number of her birthday as well. So, I call her in to show her the ship with the number NX-092368 and say,"See! I even gave it the number representing your birthday, Sweetie!" She remained silent for a moment before giving a small chuckle and saying,"Honey, I was born in 1969..." So not only did I get it wrong, I also erred in the wrong direction. At least I only have one more grade to go before Lt. Commander... Doh!!!

Like I told my fleet mates last night, the game is young and we still have plenty of time to achieve other even greater levels of dumbness. Anybody else have any doozies to relate? :p

No spectacular booboos yet but the game is young. And I have a history for making a massive arse of myself with my wife when playing MMORPGs.

After the required amount of guilt time, I did manage to get a smile out of her about it.

I'm just waiting for the really good mistells to start coming. Muahahaha.
