So, I can see my list of missions, and a few of them I doubt I'll go back to finish.

How do I abandon missions if I don't know the officer who gave me that mission?

Hit 'J'', which will bring up your list of missions. I believe if you select one you don't want, you should have a 'Drop' button at the bottom of the window you can click.

Actually, I didn't see the DROP choice in the Episode tab.
