are you still around, i thought you was only around in my nightmares because your defo not in my dreams...

levelling and difficulty are related in a sense... The reason he is saying it takes too long to level is because his stuck in the so called "easy mode" for 20 hours of play based on Cryptics statements, so 20 hours of doing the same repetetive easy missions with no challenge and learning nothing new apart from smash space bar would make it seem like levelling takes a while if you've been lead to believe T2 is hard and gives a challenge you want to hurry up and get there if your learning nothing new with no challenge...

and that is what he meant...

well wait till he hits T2 and see it is still just as easy, he'll complain it takes too long to get to T3, lol...

I dissagree, I seem to be leveling TOO fast. I know its going to be fun being an Admiral and all, but I want to enjoy the experience of coming up in the ranks and honing my skills.
I agree that it gets a little tedius flying around in the Miranda, but thres lots of different loadouts and BO combos to explore. Wont the anticipation make your next ship seem better? yeah probly not I think you should go Klingon for a while, let out your frustrations by blowing up Mirandas all day... just an idea

indeed, imeersion comes to mind, thinking your actions actually have consequence...

for instance, the Azura mission when its getting pounded, could eaisly be used to teach you the importance of priority by throwing in a timer and some variables, for instance a choice to destroy the attackers or beam on board to stop the exploson or just beam them off... all on this mission you cna save individual crew but get no reward for it at all...

once again they could make the mission have bonuses... save the Azura get a bonus, Save all the crew get another... just Save the main woman complete the mission but no bonus...

and some missionsa re just dumb, like the one where you have to beam explosives on board the jamming station, why don't i just torpedo it like i have to with all the other stations later on? And why on another mission do i have to go around laying charges, its all very incostistant...

was that sarcasim, an escort with cannons and alpha strike can wipe them in 45 seconds with a flank attack, cruiser takes a bit longer but still under a minute if done right...

haha, if i was you i'd slow down, i been purposely dragging my feet as there is currently no endgame content, not a single mission/fleet action or raid, just PvsP... endgame stuff is due to come in a few weeks but it will only give some Endgame content as the lower stuff and bugs is priority before that...

you can see the guys rant in the general gameplay thread as he made admiral in 6 days, though he needs to get out a bit more considering that...

Escort, Intercept, Boarding, all come later. I just did one mission where I did all those things actually, very long mission.

I never had anything shoot through a large object yet and they block my attacks also so maybe this is a bugged map or something.

The game takes progressively longer as you level. Leveling pace is nice right now. Balanced between 24 hour/day player needs and 4 hour per day players.
