I have to agree with the pvp folks here. Even if you have experience pvp'in in other games, you have to learn what equipment here and what BO skills will work well in a pvp environment. The more folks learn, then the better their surviabilty.

That being said, a lot of folks may not have experienced space pvp. Ground vs. Aerial combat has always used different dynamics.

And learn that you will die. Alot. No need to fear e-death and get all bent out of shape when you lose. Figure out what you did wrong, and learn from it.

The reason why feds are mostly a bunch of whiners, is because everything is handed to them on a plate, the pve content, like a large majority of pve content, never trains the player in pvp.

I have seen Feds beat us in matchs, because they stick together, and realise that when BoP battlecloak, launch torps quickly.

I have seen feds beat us, because they actually treat the cruisers as tankers, and not as dps's.

And it's funny, as the lvls progress, and people 'learn to play' there seems to be a less and less whine threads.

Bleh, its "common" knowledge that Klingons have the advantage in T1 - and the Feds have the advantage in T2, and T3-4-5 is fairly balanced.

Yet, you have Fed teams killing Klingons in T1 and Klingon teams killing Feds in T2 (I knoe cuz Ive done both), so whatever OPness the "other" side have is obviously poorly percieved and *if* there is a imbalance it is minimal, and the game is actually pretty balanced..

If you are replying or commenting on a post, reply to the post. We don't need this kind of AGD. I can assure you that whatever you think you have to say is not profound enough to warrant the disruption. If everyone did that, these forums would be unreadable.

Again, the problem with fed dps ships is they were cannon ships until feds cried and devs nerfed cannons ostensibly to nerf kdf. The result was just the opposite, and made cannons only usable by kdf because of the tiny hitbox that cannons now have.

This is because the beta fed players were mostly terribad, and the devs were listening. If you feds want to be able to compete with your dps ships, you need to have the range on cannons extended again so that you can hit things with your escorts.

Also, gear quality (white-purple) has different impact on different types of gear. Higher quality consoles and shields make a huge difference, where higher quality weapons tend to be a marginal difference.

I really think the issue a lot of Fed players have is what their role needs to be and using BO skills for that role. And they also need to learn to ignore or disable the cruisers initially instead of trying to FF them at the start.

I see a lot of people crying that the other side is OP, I see no issue with it myself, win some lose some, mostly seems down t player skill, which is how it should be.

i feel the issue is that klingon options are limited. because of this, it is very easy to get a whole klingon team on the same page and cooperating with the same strategy. which is cannons, rapid fire, cloaking, and focus firing on the same ship. the BoP and the raptor are both considdered escort like ships, correct? you don't even have to talk about it; everyone is probably all prepare to use this tactic

with the federation having three different ship types as well as many different weapon typs available at the start, they branch out and all have different ideas of what to do when in a fight. with this it's harder to get a good strategy as well as getting a team to implement it.

personally I feel that it's ok as it is, with klingons winning a lot of matches. let the federation side think up a counter.

if anything, the best nerf I can think of for klingons is to give them more ships and more variety so that they start doing different things and have a harder time getting their team to stick to a plan.
